Miyabi
The Miyabi 5000MCD 67 is the newest addition to the Miyabi range with a very dark finish to the whole of the knife the handle is made of black ash wood and the blade has a mat finish to the separated layers. The blade is 132 layers and sits slightly harder than its little brother 5000MCD and is HRC 66-67 on the Rockwell scale.
It is incredible sharp like all of the previous Miyabi knives due to ice hardening but is slightly heavier in the blade due to the extra layers and the slightly different compound of metal used.
This is a master piece of a knife and I don’t think I have seen a cooler knife that has such a wow factor. This knife has to be looked after and should never be dish washed and always be dried when finishing with the knife.
